Each year Catholic Schools Week gives students across the country a chance to deepen their faith, show off their school pride and just have fun. The Catholic Courier traveled to three area schools to see how each was marking the occasion. At St. Lawrence School in Greece, students of all ages donned cowboy hats and learned how to square dance during the school's Country Western Day. At St. Mary School in Canandaigua, a group of parent and student volunteers delivered thank you packages to individuals and businesses who help the school. And at Christ the King School in Irondequoit, everyone was choosing sides during a teachers vs. students volleyball match. (Click here to view more photos from this event and/or buy prints.)
