On Sept. 4 parishioners celebrated a special Mass at St. Andrew Church in preparation for its upcoming closure as part of a church reorganization. The celebration gave parishioners a chance to say good-bye to the building, and it featured a special Communion processional, the blessing of the building and a dove release. Those who volunteered with the parish's many ministries, and those who celebrated sacraments at the parish, were also recognized during the Mass.
