Mike D'Aloisio, longtime varsity football and basketball coach at Elmira Notre Dame High School, was among 13 people inducted into the Section 4 Hall of Fame on March 3.

Elmira resident Tony Barbaro, associate diocesan director for Catholic Charities of Rochester, was honored by the New York State Council of Catholic Charities Directors at its annual convening in Albany on March 12.

An eight-week support group is beginning in Chemung County for people in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and their care partners.
