Parents and teens will get a chance to improve their communication during Face-to-Face, a retreat March 2-3 at St. Matthew Church, 41 Spring St., Livonia.

A local country-music band will highlight a fundraiser for a Catholic Charities of Livingston County program that supports seniors and the disabled who are living independently.

Camp Stella Maris in Livonia will host its fall social on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the camp on the east side of Conesus Lake. The event will help the day and resident camp staff celebrate the end of the 2010 camp season with family, friends, alumni, neighbors and supporters.

St. Agnes School in Avon marked the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a morning program Sept. 10 at the traffic circle in Avon.

St. Agnes School will kick off the Race to Educate with Heart and Soul, a new fundraising 5K run and one-mile fun run and walk, at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the school, 60 Park Place in Avon.

Wheels for Work, an auto loan program of Catholic Charities of Livingston County, is seeking donations of reliable vehicles. The Wheels for Work program helps qualified applicants who need transportation to keep or accept employment get used vehicles, vehicle repair, registration and insurance assistance, and driver’s education.

A Caledonia event will transport attendees to Ireland. The Night in Killarney Dinner and Concert will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Historic Wadsworth-Jerris Estate, 1211 W. River Road, Caledonia.
