Teen ministry program planned

Justin Fatica of "Hard as Nails Ministry" will be a guest speaker for a program for youths in grades 6 to 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, following the 6 p.m. Life Teen Mass at St. Leo Church, 167 Lake Ave., Hilton.

Hard as Nails Ministry is rooted in the Catholic faith, challenges troubled teens and other youths to build personal relationships with Jesus Christ, and creates experiences in which the Gospels are delivered to help youths and young adults clearly and easily understand them.

The ministry was featured on the 2007 HBO documentary "Hard as Nails" and has been covered by a variety of media outlets. Fatica, the energetic and impassioned Hard as Nails Ministries founder, has worked as a religion teacher and campus minister.
